Spent all weekend in Slightly East of Nowhere, OK where I did LARP stuff. It was fun, for the most part. I entered a couple of tournaments, and while I didn't do well, I learned a few things. And at least I didn't come out of any of them with zero wins.
...I do wish there'd been a real class battle, though. And that my staff hadn't broken in the very first game we'd played. Stupid bamboo cores.
I've managed to do more writing on my![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
kinked offering, but hardmode is still giving me trouble. I've done so much writing for the second point of my outline but none of it really seems to work. Once I can concentrate on writing a bit better I'll try yet another approach, see if it can get me past that point.
This is, of course, assuming that this laptop doesn't die on me entirely in the next couple of months. If that happens, I will probably have to go back to going to the library to do all of my writing, which means that I'll have to dropkinked entirely. (I can write hardmode stuff without feeling too awkward in a library, because it's mostly PG stuff. Kinky shapeshifter bondage sex... not so much.) My luck with computers has been less than stellar lately. My main desktop is still having issues with shutting down randomly after a few minutes, the desktop I've been using just for writing won't boot anymore, and this one... we're not sure what's wrong with it. Either the power cord is bent, or the motherboard is falling apart. Or both. -_-' It's old, so not surprising, but I can't afford a new one right now.
Ah, well. Let's see what I can do, anyway.
