Somebody (I forget who) did a "Seven habits/quirks" meme. Figured I'd wait until today to do it, but I couldn't come up with seven things off the top of my head.
---
1. I can study something over and over again, but for some reason I can't learn a thing unless I'm doing something with it myself. If I didn't have lots of homework to do, I wouldn't be able to figure anything out.
2. I am not one of those people who can enjoy something in moderation. I might be able to avoid something altogether if I can last long enough, but if I try to only do a little bit, I end up on a binge. (And I'm not just talking about food.) I don't know why I go to extremes, but I do.
3. Drawing is somehow soothing to me, even when I can't do it very well. Something about putting the lines together. It's more relaxing than writing, somehow. I think that's the main reason I still practice it.
4. If I had money, I have no idea what I would do with it, besides pay for bills and pay off our debts. I don't know if it's because I've never really had money, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Date: 2014-12-07 06:49 am (UTC)From:My Intro to Engineering professor actually gave us a Learning Styles survey near the start of his class. I think that I tested predominately as a Kinesthetic learner - I have to do something or I won't learn anything. (My weakest was auditory, which is also unsurprising, since I'm hard of hearing and have trouble focusing anyway.) It's a big help to have it confirmed, though. XD
