More coherent people than I have already spoken about the delicious changes. Here's a linkspam that summarizes a lot of things.
I had wanted an account some time ago to keep track of links, and after
sidequest was created I wanted to make an account to keep track of prompts. Not now, though. I have no idea who their target demographic is at this point - and frankly, I'd like to know who they're hoping to attract with their new service! - but I am very obviously not in it.
Has anyone here used Pinboard for any length of time? I would like to know, since each account requires a small fee to sign up, how easy it is to separate links into different topics that can be browsed separately. I don't want to sign up and add links that are of personal interest to me if I have to turn around and buy a new account just to be able to link
sidequest prompts separately. I would have to choose one or the other. Probably fannish things, because honestly? I don't really share links to random things that often, and I could probably just create a post here for that purpose and keep it updated on its irregular basis, and be fine with it. (And yes, I know it's just under ten dollars, but frankly, that's a lot of money right now. Things will be better at the beginning of October! I just need to be careful for now.)

Date: 2011-09-29 01:34 pm (UTC)From:Pinboard, so far, is looking like a good option - I just want to find out if "sub-accounts" are an option, once one has paid for the service. Because really, I'd rather have fandom-related things in subaccounts, separate from my main non-fandom things. That goes double for anything relating to communities, just to make it easier to sort and browse for people who don't care about my personal stuff and are just using it to sort community links. (Also I'm inclined to agree with
