(FFVI) Anticlimax

I had Sabin fight Shadow in the Coliseum, because of reasons. I was kind of hoping that it would be a dramatic battle between the two.

What I got: Sabin cast Stop immediately, froze Shadow in his tracks, and Suplexed him until he went down. Easily the most humiliating defeat in the (admittedly short) history of the Coliseum, not to mention Shadow’s personal history. 

It was pretty hilarious, if not completely anticlimactic. But then again, Sabin's a practical guy. XD

Pity you can't do that to Chupon / Typhon / "FUNGAAAH!", since he's (it's?) usually what shows up.

Yeah, it really is. That giant pink jerk.

(What does he supposedly give you if you win, an Elixir? I haven't fought much yet; I've been working on learning spells and finding the best stat-boosting Espers. And I'm reluctant to use Shadow in any case, because I'm afraid he'll start indiscriminately tossing weapons that I'd rather keep. ;p)
