These are less goals and more things I want to do this year. I'll figure out goals... week-by-week? Month-by-month? I keep forgetting the goals I make and not making any headway. All these years and I'm still trying to figure this stuff out.

(Did I even have any 2012 goals? I got quite a bit accomplished regardless, so I feel like it's not a huge loss either way.)

2013 Goals Stuff I Want To Do:

Professional
- Dedicate one day a week to searching for a (second) job.
- Spend twenty (at least) minutes a day editing and revising the mushroom forest story.

Hobbies
- Sketch four simple sketches a week. It doesn't have to be fancy. Heck, it can be a speedsketch of Mr. Bear (again.) Just practice, darn it.
- Start on 750 Words again; write 750 words a day. (It's fifteen minutes, self. You can do that.)
- Finish the script for The Witch And The Tower by the end of the year, do a few concept sketches.
- Finish more games than I buy.

(I tended to focus on games that didn't really have an ending this past year (i.e. Glitch, up until it ended *sniff*) or on games I'd already played once before. Also, I'm terrible at keeping up with Backloggery. Right now, though, I have a fairly good store of games that I want to finish, or that I've been playing for ages and never finishing, and so I should be able to keep myself busy with those for a while.)

Personal Development - Fitness
- Eat out a maximum of twice a week.
- Exercise for thirty minutes a day. (Any kind of exercise, although I'll want to do cardio at least three times a week, I think.)

And something about cooking at home, but frankly, cooking isn't the problem. I tend to stock up on food and then not cook it, or cook it and not use it in time. I don't really know where to go with that yet.
(I'd like to set a weight/body fat goal, but am unsure what would be feasible. The lowest I've been in the last five years was when I didn't have a car. Granted, I'll probably be walking a lot more now that I'm sharing a car with someone who is actively job-hunting.)

Personal Development - Study
- If economically feasible at all, go back to college.
- Stick with (and update progress on) Coursera and other MOOC courses, esp. for programming and such.
- Continue practicing with/studying Python for about twenty minutes a day, at least - I don't have to do fancy things right away, but I don't want to forget what I learned this past year either.

"College," here, will probably be a community college at first. But that's okay. The local one is fairly good, if pricier than I'd hoped. And by "economically feasible" I mean something like, "My SO has a job and I can play with my schedule enough to keep mine," or "I can actually find a loan that won't bankrupt me with interest before I can pay it off." That won't be until next fall, most likely.

Personal Development - Other
- Start keeping the commonplace book again (one page a day.)
- Deal with my nasty habit of comparing myself to other people.
- Comment more often and generally be more active with my friends and acquaintances online.

I should start tonight by transcribing stuff from an old journal into a newer one - I just really love the idea of a commonplace book and keep wanting to do it, but I tend to forget about actually writing things down.

---

That's probably enough for a while - I can break things down later.

(So for daily things, I'll need... hmm... an hour and twenty-five minutes out of each day, minimum. Which is about as long as I spend staring at the internet sometimes, on bad days. I can probably manage that. ;p)

Last year got a bit rough at times, although I think it was still a productive year all in all. Here's hoping that this year will be productive, but a bit more stable.

Good luck, everyone. Be safe tonight, if you're partying.

I stopped doing 750 Words after a couple of months because it didn't feel useful any more; ironically I might actually need to go back to it now. But I am generally comfortable with that kind of thing - picking up tools when they're needed.
