Oh, man, Glitch is addictive. And very cute. Who else here plays it? (I still have two invitations if anyone wants to check it out; I gave my third one to someone that I don't think is ever going to use it. :p)
For whatever reason I end up being drawn to gardening in games like this. I suppose it's that subconscious desire to actually be a gardener, to be able to grow things on my own space. At any rate it's especially rewarding here, IMO. Especially since one of this game's features (as it stands right now) is the ability to use and restore other people's resources, including gardens. In fact, it rewards you for helping take care of other people's possessions when they wear out.
Anyway. I'm a gardener, predominantly, in this game. A gardener and a cook and a gatherer (I take care of trees as well as I garden crops.) It's something the game rewards you for during this particular holiday - my house is currently covered in garden plots filled with pumpkins. Pumpkins can only be grown in this particular time, so I'm just trying to get as many as I can.
At some point, when I have money and such, I'll have a tall tower with a themed restaurant and all kinds of foods and drinks, and it will be fun. But for now I probably need to stay off of it for a while, so that I can work on courses and NaNo and such. I'll try to at least check on my gardens from time to time, though.
