Spent some more time this morning making a bunch of prompts to ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
scifi_fest, including some FF prompts. I've been talking about this in various places; I'd really love to see more activity there. :D
(The prompts don't just have to be for typical SF fandoms - they can be for any fandom, as long as the prompt includes science-fiction elements. So a prompt asking for a cyberpunk AU would count, or a space opera AU. So would a prompt focusing on a scientific aspect of a fandom, which makes a lot of console RPGs fit this challenge, what with all of those ancient advanced civilizations in otherwise fantasy settings.)
Continuing the questions now (that I only ever have the time to answer on days off, lately.)
Day 11 - Gaming system of choice.
That's a tough call! My favorite games (not counting ports) are split fairly evenly between the SNES, PSX and PS2. However, if you do throw ports and backwards compatibility into the mix, I might have to go with the PS2, since I could play a fair number of the games from earlier eras on it.
Day 12 - A game everyone should play.
I... might just have to skip this question. I mean, this is basically the same as asking "Favorite Game," since this is such a subjective question. There are a few games I'd recommend to just about anyone if I could (Psychonauts comes to mind at once, as do the Portal games.)
Day 13 - A game you’ve played more than five times.
Star Ocean: The Second Story (PSX version.) Clearly, multiple endings are my weakness. I think I've played through that game six times now, to see different PAs and different ending combinations. And if I should ever pick up a PSP, I will probably pick up a copy of Second Evolution and play through it even more times, considering that it apparently has a new playable character and several new PAs.

And the FF-specific one.
Day 03 – Your favourite Final Fantasy theme/song.
There are a lot of awesome ones, but the one that I think will always be my favorite is Searching for Friends from FFVI. It's such a haunting song. And part of it is that it fits the scene where it appears - you've finally found some reason to hope that you can find everyone again. I used to fly around while I was playing that game, just to hear that song. :D
Day 04 – Your favourite Final Fantasy party from your favourite game.
Terra, Celes, Sabin and Setzer. (For some reason I gave Setzer all of the speed boosts. By the end of the game he was super fast.) Sometimes I would switch Locke in instead, just to steal things.
Day 05 – Your favourite Final Fantasy City/Town.
Eh, I have several that I was fond of. I always thought Cosmo Canyon (FFVII) would be a neat place to visit, although I wasn't sure I'd want to live there. Same with, well, most of FFX - I happen to think that Spira would be a great vacation spot, at some point after Sin was defeated. :) Same with Balamb from FFVIII.
