Well, I say jogging, but it was walk/jogging, because I am not at the fitness level I need to be for pure jogging.
Jogged four days this week, rested three. Total time out for the first three days was in the neighborhood of sixteen minutes; today it was twenty-six, counting walk time (and not counting warm-up, which I didn't time.)
I'm sort of deviating from the schedule I was using, and retooling it, because if I don't I will probably burn out. This schedule is clearly not meant for overweight, out-of-shape asthmatics. I need to go gradually. (I am trying hard not to kick myself for not being ablell to go faster! I have to remember that any improvement is better than none. If I hurt myself, I won't be able to improve at all. And so on, and so forth.) So next week will only be a little bit more difficult than this week; I'll increase my running time by several seconds, see how I feel.
I may be imagining it, but I feel like my recovery time is already better than it was when I started this. I don't know if a week is long enough to actually see any improvement, though. Still, it's encouraging!
