Feedback Fest Interest Poll

The more I think about it, the more I think that something like the Feedback Fest really does need its own community. I'm just afraid to make one, because I'm afraid to end up with yet another dead community. I would need help.

To that end, have an interest poll.

No, that would be intimidating for people who have trouble leaving feedback.

What sorts of feedback would you make to this community? (Feel free to choose from any sorts of amateur creative things, and not just fandom-based things. This is just to give me an idea of what to expect.)

So, please feel free to send this to any newsletters/communities that you might be a part of. I'm basically thinking of something weekly or bi-weekly, and in format something similar to fic_promptly, in that someone makes a post calling for a specific genre/fandom/group of fandoms/theme, and other people show up and make links to things that they have left their own feedback on. That way, people can check them out and maybe leave feedback of their own. It's basically a rec post, on steroids.

At any rate, the reason that I'm thinking about this now is the fact that if I went ahead and made this - like, today, or in the next few days - I could have a special inaugural challenge to tie in with 3W4DW, a feedback festival for creative works posted here on the site. That would be a good way to do something fun for that event and to introduce it to lots of people, but I'm also unsure that I'd be able to handle the influx of users that such a move would bring in.

On a side note, is anyone else having trouble with DW timing out a lot lately? I tried to make that post for hours this morning before it would finally go through. :/

I just saw a post on News about it. It said something about a comment loop in a single small community that was killing its software. I wonder how that's even possible?
Anyway, important part is that they're fixing it now.

Oh, you'd be surprised what can kill software unexpectedly. XD I usually am, at work. It's like "wtf, why are you....? oh my God, seriously?!"
