Some of the romance options do make more sense with Paragon or Renegade Shepard, when you think about it. Garrus, I guess, can go either way (because he himself can go either way depending on what you tell him.) Jacob feels more Renegade, Thane definitely feels like a Paragon option. I can't common on the girls, except for Tali, who I am romancing with my Paragon male Shepard. I have to say, NOT being nice to Tali requires a lot of willpower. (I actually just finished her trial. I'm hoping that when the actual romance dialogues come up, there will be an option to say, "Hey, I've been flirting with you since two years ago, didn't you notice?" Or something like that.)
I am also excited! :D I've seen interviews (although I don't have links, will have to search) that basically say that Mass Effect 2 wasn't really too different no matter what your choices were because it was part of a planned trilogy and they couldn't change it too much for continuity purposes. Mass Effect 3 will apparently have an unheard-of amount of storyline variation depending on your choices, which is what I've been wanting more of in RPGs for years!
