Hello! First of all, I'm terribly sorry for not having this done in time - this past week has been pretty rough!
Second of all, thank you very much! These are all story ideas that I love, but that I can't seem to write myself, and so I'm very much looking forward to seeing your take on them. I hope you have lots of fun with writing your story! :D
So, here are my requests, and a little bit extra for you to go on. :)
Request 1:
Helena Beat - Foster The People (Music Video)
Extra info:
So I'm a big sucker for post-apocalyptic storylines, and I'd really like to see more about the world in this video (which, I should note, really has little to do with the song.) I'd honestly like to see anything else about it! Something about the main character's life before he got caught by the kids would be awesome, and his adventure with his van and his dog. So would the further adventures of the gang of kids, or their origins, or how they discovered how they could make adults into children.
So, in summary, anything. ^^
Request 2:
Brave - Marillion (Album)
I can't find a legal way to share the album with you, but hopefully if you got this as your match, you're already familiar with it. ^^;
This request was inspired by the words that Steve Hogarth wrote about its creation. From the page for the album on Marillion.com:
I would love to see some sort of a story expanding on any of those stories of her life that the song has become, no matter in which context - the difficult childhood and distant wealthy father (Living With the Big Lie, Alone Again in the Lap of Luxury,) her days as a runaway (Runaway), the relationship with the young man who never could reach her (Brave), or the eventual finding of peace (Made Again). Or the actual day she was found on the bridge, or really anything else I've forgotten to mention here. It's up to you!
Request 3:
Quiet Earth (1985)
Zac Hobson/Apirana Maketu/Joanne (Quiet Earth)
I have shipped these three together ever since I first saw this movie. Seriously.
I made this request hoping to see something about the three of them somehow meeting again - change the ending slightly, AU it up, use pseudoscience to your advantage to bring Zac back, whatever - and coming to some sort of resolution where the three of them can have some kind of life together. I'd much prefer something romantic, but if you'd rather not go that route, that's okay as long as they're all able to live with each other.
(I will say that if you go the AU route, if at all possible, I'd prefer the big world-changing event to be preserved. As I said up above, I'm a huge sucker for post-apocalyptic stories, and The Quiet Earth is one of my favorites within the genre.)

...It was round about this stage that the song ideas took me back to a memory of an intriguing radio broadcast from the Bristol Police some years ago on GWR radio. The police had picked up a young woman wandering on the Severn Bridge who refused or was unable to speak to them. In desperation the appeal was broadcast to the general public in an attempt to discover her identity. I heard this on the radio and thought it was a great first page to a mystery story. I was also concerned for her and wrote a few words of support which, of course she would never see or hear. I suppose it's as near as I come to saying a prayer. I believe that good thoughts eventually lead to good things. 'Runaway' took me back to her - wondering what became of her - and I thought we might dream up a story which would become a piece of music like a fictional documentary of her life and the circumstances which led her to the bridge.
