I'm just not feeling art class today.
It's probably because the campus closed down for the last two days (at least for my purposes - my classes are all at night.) Everyone gets so nervous about the weather around here; we haven't had THAT much snow, but enough to shut everything down for a day and a half. I've gotten used to not going to school and would like to keep that going. Not that the class hasn't helped me a lot - it has! - but it's not as if it's my most important class. I doubt I'll be at my best tonight.
I have been enjoying it, though. The teacher is apparently a big fan of Betty Edwards and her approach to learning to draw. The Left/Right dichotomy for brains might be outdated, but the exercises are still helpful. And I've learned to use a few new media. I like charcoal. Like this one.

As for math... eh. Still waiting to see how I did on the first test. I still have a few weeks, but the first test wasn't nearly as difficult as we'd been expecting. I probably passed it, even. (I am going to have to retake it if I got less than an A, though, to make sure that I'll pass the class even if I bomb the final. I never do well on cumulative finals.)
