This is why I should avoid passing used bookstores. (But they're all so close by!)
Douglas Adams, The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul
William Gibson, Count Zero
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World (Yes, I've read it before, but now I have my own copy. Score.)
Gregory Maguire, Wicked (although I will probably put this one off until after I read the original and unabridged Oz books. I feel like I'm missing a lot of context here.)
Hedrick Smith, The Russians (because I'm trying to read more nonfiction too.)
Michael Swanwick, Bones of the Earth
Michael Swanwick, In The Drift (Two books by Swanwick in one week? Gasp!)
Somtow Sucharitkul, Utopia Hunters (Almost no one that I know has heard of this author. It's a pity. Go and check his books out, if you possibly can. [Edit - he stopped publishing under this name some time ago and is now known by S. P. Somtow, which partially explains it. Good to know... I had not been aware of that myself.])
Still trying to get into NaNo mode. Tomorrow I have the day off, so I'm going to be writing very quickly and furiously, trying to get ahead for Saturday (when I'll be working, then possibly walking straight to a friend's house to game.)
