You just failed to do two big bangs (yes, there were problems, but not insurmountable ones.) What makes you think that signing up for another one is a good idea?

Yes, I know you're excited about this idea, but you were excited about the other ideas. And you didn't manage to get them written on time. There's really no reason to expect that things will be better.

Listen to me for a change. This is a bad idea and you shouldn't do it.

So, yes. Strongly considering signing up for fantasybigbang. But I'd really have to work to get it finished, especially considering that I still don't have my own computer. (My boyfriend and I tried to fix the dead laptop but have failed miserably.)

It's another original idea, one that I really like and would love to finish while I can still remember the events that inspired it. I just don't know if I'll be able to... I have about a week to decide, though, so we'll see.

(ETA: I'm being way too hard on myself lately, aren't I? -_- I'm probably going to try this. Just need to officially sign up.)

Yes, helpful. Sorry for being all angsty. I'm being way too hard on myself lately. -_- I guess it's because I hate leaving projects unfinished, and yet that seems to be all that I do anymore... I don't know why I've always had the hardest time finishing anything.

I failed with one, but will manage with the other just fine. I took a couple days "break", but it wouldn't take long to complete the rest.

I signed up for polybigbang because the kinked idea would actually work better there. Hooray.

It would probably help if the laptop came back to life, but at least this time its failure to function won't be an unpleasant surprise in the middle of your writing.

Have you considered getting a netbook? They're cheaper than laptops and accomplish the goals of internet+writing. I'm thinking of getting one to supplement my laptop. >.> Cause I'm... a nerd.
