Goals for 2024

Ok. Goals for 2024 for [community profile] snowflake_challenge. I'm keeping these modest this year because work really is taking up so much of my time.

Career:
- Finish first quarter automation project and try to find a few ideas for the next three projects.
- Become at least somewhat comfortable with bash shell scripting.
- Figure out how the software we're using for DevOps works.
- Find a Java learning project to work on (maybe some kind of simple video game) and put three or four hours a week into it.
- Get used to going to work four times a week (three to one office and one to another. Most likely masked, if only because of a health scare I had on this past week and REALLY not wanting to get the flu, or anything else.)

Hobbies:
- Draw at least one doodle on the new easel once a month.
- Draw a doodle page on GIMP once a month. Or another program if I can find a better one that runs on my computer.
- Finish my [community profile] getyourwordsout pledge for this year (Light).
- Play some of the Steam games I picked up around the end of last year I haven't played (the new(er) Brigandine game, Star Ocean 2 R, Valkyrie Elysium) as I have time. Would like to at least these three enough to see what I think of them.

Fitness/Health: (Starting small on this.)
- Work on the exercises I found for people who have been sedentary for some time, until I start to feel better about moving around on my knees. Ten minutes a day is a good start.
- Do fifteen minutes of bike riding three times a week.
- Find a doctor who'll treat adult ADHD for once.

This is all I can come up with for now, and I can update it every month or so. Or maybe every two weeks until I get the hang of it. I'll have to set an alarm.

Wow, for "modest" goals that is certainly a lot :D I'll be curious to hear about how those exercises for sedentary people work out for you, it sounds really interesting and helpful. Best of luck with everything!! A few people on my circles started posting a weekly/monthly recap of how their goals are going which is really inspiring :D

Good luck with all of these goals! Even small goals are good ones. Especially with exercise - best to ramp up slowly and let your body get used to it. And extra wishes sent hoping you can find a doctor to treat adult ADHD!
