I did a double major in history and anthropology. It is my experience that any time you can do it, do - since most gen credits count toward both programs anyway and some of the specialized do as well. I also have two minors because I didn't have to do anything extra with them - all the classes I took for my majors filled them in.
I was older than other graduates too, but in my case, I need to have at least a master's to really do anything with my degree that I want to do. But I am pretty sure that Computer Engineering is a more employable field than mine right out of the box, yes?
Yeah, Unit 731 is pretty horrifying, but it's my thing. What gets me is how it has pretty much vanished from history due to Japanese history retconning and cover up but several governments around the world in order to get access to information. I want to be on the forefront of this as things continue to be declassified. So, yeah, it's my thing. :)
