Happy 2013, Everybody!
New Year's Day was good! (I didn't do much for the night before; we stayed up, but mostly stayed in. Frankly, I'm not much of a party person anymore. Too much trouble to clean up afterwards.)
Mostly I spent the day trying to stick to my goals - which wasn't difficult, the hard part was literally motivating myself to do them - and playing SMB. I'm not nearly as good at side-scrolling platformers as I remember. Or maybe I just played Super Mario World more than I realized at the time, and that's why I can pretty much breeze through that game after not playing it in ten years. Who knows?
Tomorrow, it's back to work for me. At least my schedule is better than it was during November and December, at least in terms of not completely exhausting me from day to day. I'm probably going to miss the hours I had back then, though. We'll see how things turn out.
